Is OOBE broker supposed to continue Running after Installing Windows 11 23h2?.
I see the OOBE broker running on Windows 11 in task manager, and I am logged into My Microsoft Account after not having Wi-Fi during the OOBE Flow setup and using the bypass to continue the setup. and downloading drivers from a convenient USB flash drive I had and logging into my Microsoft Account, but I still see the OOBE broker still running in the background is this a bug or a feature. if any way You can, can you help me with this without Reinstalling Windows please thanks.

2024-01-11T06:38:43+00:00 Hi, Edubbs08
Welcome to the MicroSoft Community.
OOBE Broker (Out of Box Experience Broker) is a part of the Windows setup process. It’s normally active during the initial setup of Windows and the creation of new user accounts. However, it should not continue running after the setup completes. If you see this process running long after the setup is finished, it could potentially be a bug, and there are a few steps you can take to resolve it:- Ending the Task: The simplest solution is to try ending the task. Open the Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc), find the OOBE Broker process, right-click on it, and select “End Task”.
- Windows Updates: Ensure your system is up-to-date. Microsoft might have already addressed this issue in recent updates. Go to Settings > Windows Update and check for updates.
- Disable OOBE in Task Scheduler: You can disable the OOBE tasks in Task Scheduler. Press Win+R to open Run, type ‘taskschd.msc’ and press Enter. Navigate to Microsoft > Windows > Setup > OOBE and disable any active tasks.
- System File Checker (SFC): Run the System File Checker to ensure there are no corrupted system files. Open Command Prompt as an administrator and type ‘sfc /scannow’ and press Enter. Please note, as with any system modifications, you should make sure to create a System Restore Point before making any changes. You can refer to the link below to create a system restore point: Create a system restore point - Microsoft Support

2024-01-16T01:56:33+00:00 Also, I found another glitch where in advanced app settings it says i am logged out even though I am logged into my microsoft and I did a sfc and a dism but they both found no corruptions and i think this has something to do with the oobe still running or it is a new Windows bug in the January 1st 23h2 update.
