Currently experiencing the following errors: 0x80070643 (KB5034441) and 0x80073701 (KB5034122)

I logged on this morning to see the notification for new updates so I checked and saw the 2024-01 Cumulative Update, NET Framework Update, and Security Update
The Cumulative and NET Framework updates installed without issue; however, the Security Update keeps failing, no matter how many times I restart or Retry
I've even gone ahead and installed the Cumulative and NET updates but the result is the same. it's started saying this once it fails as well;
"There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: (0x80070643)"
I tried checking my Windows 11 system but there was no Security Update for that one, it was just the Cumulative and NET updates
this happened to me on the last Security Update in December but after clicking Retry again, it installed without further issue. This one however just won't work
I'm on Windows 10 Pro 22H2, is anyone else having this issue?

You are not alone as that Security Update is failing for a lot of people. Just scroll down the posts and you will see several posts about that KB5034441 update.

Hey guys,
Check out this article: https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/microsoft/windows-10-kb5034441-security-update-fails-with-0x80070643-errors/
It describes the problem with update KB5034441 causing 0x80070643. Basically, Microsoft is trying to solve a BitLocker vulnerability but has not considered the limits they have set themselves previously. So they fail. The quality assurance department must have moved over to Windows 11 or something.
So what did they do? They require a WinRE partition than what Windows usually creates when installing. This partition is used for recovery purposes if Windows fails to boot. There are ways to increase the partition, but please don't. Rather ignore the error and don't lose your device if you trust BitLocker to secure your device against data theft.
Just updated todays update and restarted. Sytem slowed down significantly. Same happened yesterday 24/01/2024. Deleted the update and sytem was back to normal speed. Same happened mid last year but system also froze. Had to re-install winwows 11 and retrive last updated files after re iunstalling all apps. Still recovering from lost data issues to date.
Really tempted to chewck out Apple.
No real comms from Mocrosoft.
I saw a workaround fix was to increase the size of the Recovery partition which is not something I want to do, nor should I have to do just to install an update
not to mention I'm pretty sure I saw that fix was for Windows 11; however, I didn't even receive the Security Update for Windows 11
anyway if there's no fix from Microsoft, is it better to just wait for next month?
can other updates, like the Definition Updates for Defender, still install if this error message exists?
