Logitech Webcams and Windows 11

Hi Group,

First post here.

I had no problem with my Logitech C615 on my old HP laptop with Windows 10 but on my new HP laptop with Windows 11, I am getting horizontal jumping interference lines in the video display. My wife's C270 does the same. Both cams work as expected on her HP (my old one with a fresh install of Windows 10).

After a lot of searches I've tried every suggested fix that I found to no avail. See attached jpeg. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Hello RandyMcDermott, welcome to the Microsoft community, I'll be happy to help you today;

    I understand that you are having problems displaying the Logitech C615 camera in Windows 11;

    I checked the Logitech website and there are only camera drivers for Windows 10 and not Windows 11;

    Maybe that's why the camera works normally in Windows 10;

    However we can try some solutions;

    What exactly is the model and manufacturer of your graphics card?

    To find out which one, right-click on the start menu and go to Device Manager;

    Click (>) Display Adapters to expand the section;

    Inform the model and manufacturer of the graphics card (Inform if there is more than one);

    Try updating all your HP drivers using HP SupportAssist:

    https://support.hp.com/us-en/help/hp-support-as...

    Try downloading the latest driver for your camera (Even if it's for Windows 10):

    https://download01.logi.com/web/ftp/pub/techsup...

    Check if the problem still persists;

    Hope this helps, see you soon!

    Lame! Customer had a problem. Only solution was to downgrade entire system. In the end customer went out and bought a new camera sending the old one to the junk pile and all of us still with no solution. I have a logitech V-UBK45 that works on windows 10 in any application and doesn't get recognized in windows 11. Help me out, Luiz !

    Dear RandyMcDermott,I still have a solution that might work;

    Right-click on the start menu and go to Device Manager;

    Click on (>) Cameras to expand the section;

    Right-click on the camera and select Uninstall device;

    Then go to the link below and download the latest drivers for your camera:

    https://download01.logi.com/web/ftp/pub/techsup...

    Check if the problem still persists;

    See you soon!

    Thanks Luiz but I broke down and bought a C922. All is right with the world again.

    I have a C310 and it works perfectly fine out of the box with Windows 11. Always has. I have never installed a driver manually or ever touched it and the picture is fine. Windows 11 is mostly Windows 10 so its not much of a reason on its own. You don't have to touch the cam's driver at all on Windows 11.

    Thus, even with having one, am not actually sure what the issue is with your computer. If I go into Windows Camera and view it, there's zero lines and its clean.

    I could see this maybe being an encoder issue, and its not getting to use a better quality one because of something else about your computer, but I don't know enough about how this cam works technically. So, it could be related to the GPU's abilities or that driver in theory only without a test showing otherwise.
