How do I unlock all the features of Phone Link?

I had to uninstall and reinstall Phone Link. I guess it's like starting over. I don't want to make or receive phone calls.

  1. I want to hear music through my windows 10 computer speakers. How do I do that?
  2. I want to listen to Amazon music. As you can see, it's still showing in my notifications panel. I don't know how to remove it. I listened through the speakers on my Samsung phone.
  3. What is Focus Assist for?

    Ravi,

Thank your response. I didn't know I had to have Win 11 to unlock all the features of Phone Link. I appreciate you giving the link to read about it.

My computer is not able to upgrade, so I will just enjoy what I have. I love to text on the full keyboard, and pull up my apps on my computer screen and look at my photos and delete old ones.

    Best,

    Linda

    I completely understand it, Linda.

If your computer can't upgrade to Windows 11, Phone Link isn't the best option for now.

    Hey there!

My name is Ravi, and I am an independent advisor. I am happy to help you. :)

I understand you want to use Phone Link on Windows 10.

Phone Link has some minimum requirements.

    1). A PC running Windows 11

2). An iOS device running iOS 14 or later.

It doesn't work on Windows 10 with all features. You can check these requirements here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/phone...

To unlock all the features, you can upgrade to Windows 11.

Feel free to get in touch again if you have any additional questions.

    Cheers,

    Ravi

Ide suggest to just use the ol basic Bluetooth for audio music share to your pc...I've had the phone link on my phone and pc for about 2 years now and I've never been able to get it to work or more so do what I want it to do when I'm wanting it to do it. There was only one important time it acually did exactly what I needed it to do when I needed to do it and that was when my kids dad came into my house to drop off our son and he happened to think taking my phone would just go unnoticed. I knew he took it immediately and jumped on my PC cus ide earlier that day been messing around with the settings for the phone link and knew it was up on my home screen at that moment ide not closed it yet. So that was perfect and wad able to completely see everything he was trying to view and do on my phone, I even could control my phones camera to take a photo of him holding my phone in his car. It was awesome and I had so much fun messing with him and putting all sorts of weird stuff like fake virus alerts and a police scan alert stating this phone had now been located by the police please step out of your vehicle with your hands in the air...he did too. It was hilarious 😂. I had the gps on precisepinning so I knew he'd only pulled around the block and stopped to mess try snooping through my phone. He was right around the corner from me so I could acually watch him being flustered as I walked around the corner to retrieve my phone and make him aware he was only making an idiot of himself trying to steal my phone. Anyways use the Bluetooth connection and that works much more simpler. And if you really must use the phone link I suggest just setting aside a good hour or so to sit there and browse through the app on phone and on your pc at same time to learn how it all works and how to do stuff. I've done that myself but it's been awhile and I don't recall how ide done it. I'm pretty sure it's simple once you have the phone app set up correctly and it's almost automatically done and you'd just pull up your music from phone and then click the control music from the phone link app on your PC. Main thing I know about the phone link is that it basically just let's you control your phone from the pc, like has the screen that looks just like your phones screen.
