    Hi, mustafa sherwan

I can very much understand how you feel, you have spent a lot of money on your device and are afraid of it breaking down. However, you should understand that the community is a public platform, we can communicate through the posts, but cannot do more (such as contact you by private message or phone support), after all, we are not the product after-sales so you can understand?

But I'm still willing to do my best to help you. Have you tried or considered any of the suggestions I've given above? In addition, please help me to provide details about the following points:

    1. Has your capture card ever worked properly? (Did you buy it and find that it just doesn't work properly)
    2. What is the model of your capture card? (I can't tell its exact model number based on the picture)
    3. Have you tried to change another software live it, such as trying to use OBS, to see if the problem still occurs.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

    Best Regards

    Hi, mustafa sherwan

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

There could be a few reasons why your USB 3.0 HDMI capture card is only showing up as a microphone in Streamlabs OBS:

    • Incorrect drivers - Make sure you have the latest drivers installed for the capture card, both on your laptop and in Streamlabs OBS. The drivers allow the operating system and apps to properly recognize the device.
    • Audio input set incorrectly - In the Streamlabs OBS audio settings, double check that the correct audio input is selected. It may be defaulting to the laptop’s built-in mic instead of the capture card.
    • Audio modes mixed up - Some capture cards have separate audio modes for mic input vs HDMI audio extraction. Make sure the card is set to extract HDMI audio, not mic input. There may be a switch on the card itself.
    • Needs separate audio cable - Some capture cards require a 3.5mm audio cable from the source device to the capture card, in addition to the HDMI cable, in order to get audio. Make sure this is connected if needed.
    • Damaged hardware - If you’ve verified the drivers, connections, and settings are correct, it’s possible the HDMI capture card itself is defective and needs to be replaced. I’d recommend double checking the driver installation and audio input settings in Streamlabs OBS first as those are common issues. Also inspect the capture card closely and try different cables/ports to troubleshoot further. If there is anything not clear or I can't understand your problem, please do not hesitate to let me know.

    Best Regards
