Hi all,

I recently bought Tekken 8 and I’m super excited to play, but when I tried starting it I got a pop up message saying

“DirectX12 is not supported on your system. Try running without the -dx12 or d3d12 command line argument”

I’ve gone through various YT vids so I’ve check and I have 100% confirmed that I do have Directx12 confirmed, my graphics card is AMD Ryzen 7 5800H with Radeon Graphics (16 CPUs) ~3.2GHz so it definitely works and I’m running windows 11.

I’m at a loss and really need some help :(

I can provide more specs if needed, I just really need this game in my life lol its special cuz me and my dad play it together.

    Hi ,

Sabya here, Independent Windows Adviser. Hope you are doing well.

There is no standalone package for Directx 12 ultimate. It is installed with Windows update.

Please search for dxdiag in the search bar or start menu.

It will provide you DirectX Diagnostic Tool. Please take a screenshot and upload it here.

    Regards

    Sabya

My computer is different from yours and I have Windows 11 Pro with all the updates (23H2). My desktop is a Dell XPS 8940.

This image is from my NVIDIA Control Panel.

    A couple more images.
