How to see actual apps that are taking up storage?

I only have 70 gb left in storage for my local disk and when I checked system > storage it says that 282 gb of storage is taken up by my installed apps but when I click on the apps and sort it by largest to smallest, the biggest ones that take up storage are Premiere Pro and Photoshop which only take 3 gb each. The rest of the apps I have installed don't even pass 1 gb and I highly doubt that they all combine to equal 282 gb. So I am just wondering how can I actually see what is taking up all the storage or is this really the entire extensive list?

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

The calculation in Windows Storage settings will also account for the app data for each of the apps

Click the link below to download a small free utility named Treesize.

    https://www.jam-software.com/treesize_free

Very Important - to run TreeSize, you must right click its icon and choose Run as Administrator.

Using that utility you will be able to see where all your drive space is being used

If you still have a problem, please provide a screenshot of your C drive in that TreeSize utility, so I can see your hard drive and work out where that space is being used and if there is an underlying problem.

It appears that the thing taking up the most space is this backup for an Apple computer but I have never used a Mac/backed up a Mac onto my PC. I am wondering what this could be/if it is possible to delete?

Edit: I have figured out it is for my backups for my iPhone. I am wondering, since i have another storage drive in my PC what is the best way I can move these files? Or can I just copy + paste?

Additionally, I have read online that if I backed up my iPhone it keeps the old backups and I have to manually delete those, I am wondering if that is true as there is 2 folders and one 79.9 GB while the other is 37.9 GB, or is that normal for one iPhone backup?

Apple do not provide any method to move the backup location to another drive, they only allow that folder to be used

As far as I know you can manually move those two backups to another drive for safe keeping, but it may be best to ask that on the Apple Forum.

Yes, I am wondering, since i have another storage drive in my PC what is the best way I can safely move these files? Or can I just copy + paste?

Additionally, I have read online that if I backed up my iPhone it keeps the old backups and I have to manually delete those, I am wondering if that is true as there is 2 folders and one 79.9 GB while the other is 37.9 GB, if I backup my iPhone does it take the same amount of space on my PC as the amount of space I used on my iPhone? As in, if I have 79 GB of data, it will take 79 GB of storage on my PC?

That is a backup from an iPhone or iPod, not a Mac PC., do you have iTunes in stalled on your PC?
