Hold Shift while you right-click the icon. Then, depending on your keyboard either the +/- or arrows will eventually move the window, it just may have to move it half a mile, so ride the line between patience and time wasting...

On windows11, one application runs offscreen. This began when I used external monitor but continued. Why?.

2024-04-03T18:52:01+00:00 I was having the same problem with NordPass but the alt + space was not working for me. Until I realized its because I have powertoys running, which hijacked the alt+space shortcut. So if you are like me, you first need to open up powertoys and disable the alt-space shortcut. THEN, this solution will work!!!!
I can confirm that the shift + right click method does not work for the NordVPN. Simply, nothing happens. It does work for Firefox, but not for the window I actually need to move. Super frustrating.
What did work for me was alt + space. Then click move, and use the arrow keys to move the window where you need it, and left click. Hope this helps.
Thank you so much! This should be the main answer to this question! Had a problem with NordPass, I'm not sure how are their apps different to not trigger some of the suggestions above, but since this one always works, I really can't recommend it enough.

2024-05-27T12:40:24+00:00 open any other window, (folder, program, browser) hover over the maximize window at the top right but do not click, when a selection of window arrangements appears, you can choose quad, side by side or 3 frame arrangement, choose the one you just opened for the first frame and any other running programs will be an option for the second frame, choose the program that was off screen and it will be accessible to move, maximize or change at that point.
