Media files got changed to .uptmp. Cannot view.

I am in the same boat. So many videos with the .upTMP extension. I conducted the extension rename, which was successful, but the videos still wouldn't play.

Have you received any feedback or other guidance, elsewhere?

Files were both .jpg and .mov files. They ended up with a double extension. abc123***.mov.uptmp*** or abc123***.jpg.utmp*** I need help. It was over media 10,000 files.

• What type of file is your media file originally? For example, video type, audio type.

As far as we know, there is currently no file type with the extension.uptmp

Perhaps you can try the following methods to solve this problem:

Manually change the suffix back to the original suffix name, and then try to open it normally.
