I have a MSI laptop and a Xiaomi/Poco phone (devices I'm trying to connect) and I tried with my phones type c to usb a cable, a usb 3.0 supported type c to type c cable and another phones type c to a cable, tried almost every thing that I could find in the microsoft community, checked if my windows is n or kn version, did the registry trick, installed the inf folder, tried manually adding portable devices, tried downloading my phone specific adb drivers, almost everything that was said here in microsoft community, I have tried, but still my phone is not connecting to the laptop. Please help now this has become a hugeeeeeeeee problem for me.
By the way my phone is connecting to other windows laptops and desktops, it is connecting to both windows 10 as well as 11 devices, nut not with my pc.
And nobody else's device is connecting to my laptop either. I tried connecting my tablet doesn't connect, I tried connecting my friends phone doesn't connect, I tried my mother's phone doesn't connect.

I have the same problem if I try to use a USB 3.0 port on the laptop. But the computer will recognise my phone if I connect the cable to a USB 2.0 port. Please try and let me know the results.
Yeah🫠
Have tried all of the above mentioned steps. None worked. I've given up at this point. Nearby share to the rescue.

I see that you've tried various solutions to resolve the connection problem between your Android device and MSI laptop without success.
Here are some additional steps to try:
Ensure that the USB settings on your phone are configured correctly. To do this, go to your phone's Settings, look for USB connection options, and choose "File Transfer" or "MTP" (Media Transfer Protocol).
-
Try connecting your phone to different USB ports on your laptop. Sometimes, a specific USB port may have connection issues.
-
Verify that the USB drivers on your laptop are up to date. You can do this by visiting the MSI website and looking for driver updates for your laptop model.
-
Make sure the USB cable you're using for the connection isn't damaged. Faulty cables can sometimes cause connection problems.
-
If you're using a third-party USB cable, try using the original cable that came with your phone.
-
Ensure your phone is not in "Airplane mode" as this can limit connectivity.
-
Keep in mind that since other devices also don't connect to your laptop, there could be an issue with the laptop's USB port or its specific configuration, which requires further investigation.
