Hi,

I had to disable touch screen via Device manager - Human Interface devices - HID compliant touch screen as I had a flickering screen cursor. Itstopped flickering when enable this. Now I don't ofcourse have touch screen - so wondering how I get it back or update/reinstall touch screen? To enable it the same way as I disable it I get the flickering cursor back so thats not an option...

Thanks very much in Advance,

Best

Veronika

Greetings, Veronikakral! My name is Arif, and I will assist you today.

To troubleshoot touchscreen issues, start by rebooting your device. Then, using Device Manager, press Windows + X, select Device Manager, expand Human Interface Devices, locate HID-compliant touch screen (multiple entries may exist), right-click on each, and select Enable device. Confirm the action for each if multiple devices are found.

If rebooting and enabling the touch screen doesn't resolve the issue, update the driver by right-clicking on the HID-compliant touch screen in Device Manager, selecting Update Driver, and following the prompts.

    Hi,

I have a query, what if the "HID-compliant touch screen" is not available in Human interface Devices menu, then how to install the same.

    Thanks,
