No. That's a fake so-called Tech Support scam alert/warning which you are seeing in your browser.

"Remember that real error messages from Microsoft, or other big tech companies, never include phone numbers for you to call them.

If your screen suddenly fills with scary pop-ups you should immediately close your browser (try pressing ALT+F4 if you can't do it with your mouse). If you can’t close your browser try restarting your computer."

Other methods to get out of such fake Tech Support scam browser warnings are listed here:: Thread "Blocked computer" page 1: AW's reply on January 21, 2023

    Hi Alain,

My name is Igor, it's a pleasure for me to help others and I'll try to help you.

This is fake, Microsoft never suggests users to call.

    So you got scammed?

You stated here: "I got an alert that there was a threat detected on my computer and to call Microsoft Windows Support 1-855-999-0177. I this number real for Microsoft Windows Support???"

Reading my post here should have told you that no, that's a fake alert.

In addition you received a reply by an Independent Advisor which confirmed my first post.

Now you post: "I did file a scam report with Microsoft. He gave me his name, Employee ID, phone number incase we got disconnected (which I did after about 2 minutes) and where he was calling from. "

When you report a scam, you do it here: https://microsoft.com/reportascam.

There is no talking with any person involved. It's a form which you fill out.

For me, your posts do not make any sense anymore.

If you want to detail your issue, then please do start your own thread.
