error 0x000000d1 bugcheck windows 11 while gaming

Hello Guys,

I just build my new system with all new parts. See the list below for the Specs:

CPU: Intel i7 13700k

GPU: MSI RTX 4070ti

RAM: 32 GB DDR5 Trident Z5 6400Mhz

Motherboard: ASUS Prime Z790-A WIFI

PSU: Corsair 1000x GOLD

Storage: 2TB Samsung 980 PRO and 1TB 980 M.2

After the common problems of the intel CPU automatically overclocking itself and overheating. i ran in some other problems. While gaming i can play around 15 minutes and after that it will BSOD and restart the system. i check the event viewer and the error code is 0x000000d1 restart because of bugcheck. When i do other things like working in microsoft edge, word ect. I don't have this problem. it only occurs while gaming.

I did everything the internet had said. Reinstalled windows 11. scanned for corrupt system files and repaired them, updated every driver. This didn't help.

After some more searching i did a memory check. It is saying that it is detecting hardware problems. Does it mean my RAM is faulty? or is it maybe because of other factors? i am at work now but when i am home i will try to put the RAM in slot A1 and B1 and do the memory check again and see if it's fixed.

Can people that have had the same problem please post their fix?

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    1

If the problems have persisted after clean installing Windows that does usually indicate a hardware problem.

    2

Please check to see if your PC is producing any minidump files, I will check those to see if they provide any insight into a potential cause of the system crashes.

    Open Windows File Explorer.

    Navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump

Copy any minidump files onto your Desktop, then zip those up.

Upload the zip file to the Cloud (OneDrive, DropBox... etc.), then choose to share those and get a share link.

Then post the link here to the zip file, so we can take a look for you.

    Dave,

is it possible that i run this setup with 16gb? like maybe is only 1 of the 2 RAM sticks broken? i will test it by doing the memory check. the fastest i can get new ram is in 2 days because of shipping.

    Hi Dave,

Thanks for the fast reply. When i am home i will check for the dumps and upload them here. In the mean time will buy 2 new RAM modules and try if maybe this will fix the problem.
