Hello Kenny, sorry about your problems. My name is Marco and I will do my best to help you.

Open Windows start menu and type: Control Panel and click on it.

Under Hardware and Sound, select View devices and printers. In the Printers section, find Microsoft Print to PDF and right-click on it. Now, choose Set as default and press Ok to confirm.

Disable and Reenable Microsoft Print to PDF:

Navigate to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features > Turn Windows features on or off. Find and untick the Microsoft Print to PDF option, press Ok and wait until the feature is disabled. Then, reopen the Windows Features and tick the option to enable it again.

Restart the Print Spooler service: Press Windows + R keys and type "services.msc" in the Run dialog box. Scroll down and find the "Print Spooler" service. Right-click on it and select "Restart."

You can run System File Checker, which will scan your system for missing, corrupt or damaged files and attempt to fix them.

Step to run the System File Checker tool (SFC.exe) (DISM)

Note: Respect the spaces or simply copy / paste the commands.

    • Click on windows start button, type CMD
    • Right click on " prompt command " and " run as admin "
    • Now type this commands

    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth

    • Press Enter.
    • Then, this command and Enter.

    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

    • Then make the following commands.

    sfc /scannow

When the scan is finished, check if there are any errors detected.

Restart the computer and check if it is now fixed.

    Hi,

When I click save nothing happens. It doesn’t even let me pick which folder to save it to. Also, I don’t have any other HD. Only 1 main one I’m using :)

    Thank you.

In this case, I believe it's a permissions problem, because it's all related to the backup. Does this happen in all the folders where you saved your file or only one folder?

If not, is it on another hard drive? Can you change the save location to see?

Here is a tutorial for changing folder permissions: https://www.microcenter.com/tech_center/article...
