Wireless Beats headphones not recognized as audio output

My Beats Studio 3 headphones can connect via bluetooth to my Windows 11 laptop (HP ENVY x360 2-in-1 Laptop 15-ew0xxx), but I cannot select them as an audio output. These headphones work perfectly fine on other devices, and my computer can connect to and play audio from other bluetooth headphones. I have tried updating my audio driver, uninstalling and reinstalling my audio driver, and rebooting my system. Further, I have already tried factory resetting my headphones and disconnecting and reconnecting them from my laptop. None of these solutions have worked. My headphones have worked in the past on this laptop specifically. I only started to run into the problem yesterday. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks :)

Hello to all of my fans! I solved my problem by going into the "Devices and Printers" page and then clicking properties on my headphones. Then I went to "Service" and unchecked some random boxes but left "Audio Sink", "Remote Control", and "Remotely Controlable Device". I have no idea what the other ones even do, but my headphones are fully usable with them unchecked. Best of luck to all of you with similar problems that this doesn't fix because I'm not gonna lie I was getting irrationally angry at my computer. I'm glad I randomly fixed it this way because I was about to punch my laptop. It happens.

The point is, I believe that you can resolve your headphone issue. While my BS3-headphone-isn't-recognized-as-an-audio-output journey was 8 months, I pray that yours will be fewer. Stay strong. Be brave. And whatever happens, remember that even though life will go on, if you keep letting your quality of life decrease then you will never be satisfied. Take hold of your life and learn to fix your problems, and one day, you can be like me. Happy. Content. At peace with myself. I send you my love and support.

    Best,

    Sean

    Hi Sean

Check in Control panel \ Sounds to see if the puds are shown there and if are disabled?

    Thanks
