Can i change system UUID?

Hello,

I have a question regarding changing the system UUID obtained from "win32_computersystemproduct" to a new one. Is this possible?

If not, could the UUID be altered by:

  1. Formatting Windows and installing a new one?
  2. Upgrading the hard disk and CPU?
  3. Updating the BIOS?

    When prompted, enter the administrator name and password that you just used to log in.

    This ID is calculated on the base of different computer components' IDs so it is constant for this hardware set.

    One may use some software HWID changers, but this will result in Windows activation loosing, Windows begins to think it is installed to another PC.
