Just a fews minutes ago. i rebooted my computer normally. However, i find that the window wallpaper is changed.....

I didnt change any settings.

On top of that, I just reset my window 11 to the factory setting on few days ago.
The window should be in the default settings.
Also, the default wallpaper.

why did my wallpaper change itself?

Is it a new bug? Or sth else?

Thanks in advance.

    Greetings!

I'm Christine, an Independent Advisor and a Windows user like you. Looks like you would like to know why your Wallpaper keeps on changing. No worries, I got your back!

Based on your description, it looks like your background was set to Windows Spotlight that's why it keeps on changing. Windows Spotlight will show you new wallpaper or background each day. For more info about Spotlight, please check the link below:

    Windows Spotlight:

In case you would like to turn off the Windows Spotlight, you may follow the steps below:

Please click Start menu and type Background and hit enter.

Next to Personalize your lockscreen, you can choose Picture and set your preferred background from there.

Please let me know if you have any questions. I'll be happy to assist you all the way until it's resolved.

    Thank you,

    Dear Christine,

    Thank you so much!

However, i still have one last question.

Is the spotlight the new default settings of window 11.
Coz i didnt change any settings.

Also. I used to reset my window to factory settings periodically because of Job required.

Its the first time that i experienced this issue.

I really worried on it. This is my working PC. I afraid that the security concerns may exist.

Thanks for your sincere help :)

    Hi christine,

    Thank you T^T

My previous wallpaper settings was "Picture".

And i just set back to picture and restart my PC.

However, It does not go back to Window spotlight.

I guess the wallpaper setting may be modified by the Window itself?

    Is it a possibility?

Coz im the sole user of my PC.
And if the settings is not modified by me or someone.....
    who did it? Its weird...
