I have the laptop,it's pretty decent but I it's not meant for gaming ,try getting yourself a HP omen 15 instead.
Anyone have any experience with Intel Iris Xe?
I might be getting a new computer in the near future, and one of the ones I'm looking at has the Iris Xe video built into the CPU instead of a dedicated graphics card. I don't play the newer, high end games. In fact, the only two games I'm concerned about are from 2005 and 2007. So I'm wondering if anyone here has used Iris Xe, and how well it works, especially (if possible) with older games.
Thanks in advance.

2023-08-15T20:08:31+00:00 Hi Frederick,
I'm Amr, an independent advisor.
The extent of performance relies on the specific game in question, however, the GPU is not primarily designed for gaming purposes
However, I managed to achieve playable performance while running GTA V on medium settings.
Since the games that interest you are relatively old, I believe there should be no problem.
I recommend researching individual games to ascertain whether the GPU can support them, along with the attainable settings and resulting frame rates.
I hope this is helpful. If you require any additional assistance, don't hesitate to respond to this.
Best Regard
Amr
