    Hello,

Thanks for reaching out! I'm Microsoft user like you.

It is a part of Windows Spotlight and manages lock screen suggestions, the daily Bing wallpaper, and other things.
It doesn't require nearly enough resources to raise any red flags and is safe to have if it is present.

In case of additional questions, reach out back to me, and I will be happy to help and try our best to resolve your issue.

    Best Regards,
    Prakash

    Hi Prakash,

I would like to know how to disable/remove this other than Task Manager's END choice.

    Thank you!

As already mentioned, trying to remove Widows features like this is just more trouble than it's worth and won't typically work long term.

Instead, it's typically better to just turn off those you don't want, since that's the supported method and should continue to work indefinitely, which I'd used to disable Spotlight myself on a Windows 10 system many years ago before I even knew what it truly was, simply because I didn't want their background images.

Here's the official documentation for this at Microsoft Learn, which provides te simple way I used and several other options for managed systems that aren't likely to work for consumer systems in most cases.

Configure Windows Spotlight - Configure Windows | Microsoft Learn

You'll need to use PowerShell to remove the CBS UWP app, but as it's a core System app located in C:\WINDOWS\SystemApps it'll likely bork your Windows Installation if it's removed and if it doesn't it's likely to be reinstalled following a Windows Update.
