Ease of access narrator screen.

After three minutes of being on my computer, this box pops up which is a blank white page and a black border. I can't close it or minimize the page. It has the Narrator, magnifier, high contrast, sticky keys and filter settings, and that's it.

This just started yesterday. How can I keep that box from opening? I have already unclicked some boxes it said to.

    Miguel,

I'm still having a problem with that ease of access page coming up.I had the two boxes unchecked for always read the section aloud and always scan this section.

Also, you sent me a list of shortcuts to "disable ease of access". I didn't see anything specific on that list for disabling, just individual things like "turn magnifier off."

    Thank you

Hi, and thanks for reaching out. My name is Miguel O., Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue!

To turn off ease of access

    1. Press "Windows Key + R"
    2. Type "Control Panel"
    3. Then select "Ease of Access Center"
    4. Under the section "Make your computer easier to use" make sure that the first two checkboxes are unchecked.
    5. Then close the window as there is no need to press ok or save to keep the new settings.

    Miguel,

Thank you for the assistance. I did the ctrl+shift+esc as you suggested and it worked. At first, I couldn't see anything coming up on my monitor; it was just an all black screen. So I also couldn't see the task manager come up to use that to close out my computer. It seemed to sit for awhile as a black screen and I may have shut down the computer and did the ctrl+shift+esc a second time.

Now my computer stays open for as long as I want it to and all the apps that I had in the taskbar which had disappeared before have been restored. Thank you. Very much.

When I was doing the ctrl+shift+esc, when the black screen finally disappeared, these error message did show up though.

    Agent.exe Application error

The exception unknown software exception (0xe0434352) occurred the application at locatoin 0x00007FFE5336CF19

I also had another message came up

    WerFault.exe - Application error

The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000012d). Click OK to close the application

I'm having the same problem but can't exit ease of access or get task manager to work. I'm just stuck on the ease of access screen. This happened suddenly this week, and I've tried restarting but nothing seems to work. I simply can't get to any of my apps any longer. I'm on Windows 10 with an old Sony Vaio notebook. Very frustrating!

Can you try to see what the name of the process is called? you can see it by opening the task manager

    Ctrl + Shift + Esc

Also please try to close it with the task manager by right-clicking and selecting end task
