My screen turned green

My windows 10 screen suddenly turned static greenish when I was just watching a YouTube video. I don't know what happened it just randomly appeared. I didn't touch anything and I didn't disturb anything in my laptop. Can I please have some help to fix it? I really need this laptop for my education.

    I'm Christine, a Windows user like you. I can see here that your screen turned to color green. Usually this kind of issue occurs due to driver issue or hardware itself. No worries, I'll do my best to help you.

    Please send the make and model of your device. (Please press Windows key + R and type msinfo32 and hit enter, look for system model)

    Update or Roll back the Display driver
    Please press the Windows key + X

    Then click Device manager

    Kindly expand the Display Adapters

    Right click and choose "Update Driver"

    Select "Search automatically for drivers"

    If the issue persists Choose "Browse my computer for driver" instead

    and click " Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer"

    Choose the older version.

    Please restart and check if the issue persists

    Hello unfortunately as I tried updating the driver it sadly didn't fix the issue. My system model is HP ProBook 4540s.

    The screen is filled with something like a tv static screen with a tint of green

    Well, thats bad. Maybe u need a new display.

    If you can open the laptop, try reconnecting the display cable. Also in windows try ctrl+windows+shift+b which refreshes your gpu drivers. also try updating drivers or resetting laptop.
