wireless mouse not working with windows 11

Hi, I tried to pair my wireless aerox 3 to a laptop running Windows 11.

After many frustrating attempts I randomly turned OFF notifications for Swift Pairings under Blue Tooth - Device Settings. No clue what it does or why it worked, but it solved my problem. Give it a try

My laptop is roughly 4 months old and I love it. It's an HP Pavilion with Windows 11. The mouse worked perfectly at home. I'm at a friend's home now with the computer and the wireless mouse won't work. The ports are good because the thumb drive works perfectly. The Bluetooth recognizes my friend's television and other devices. She gave me another mouse with a new battery and its receiver. That didn't work either. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the mouse drivers 3 times. All updates are......up to date. I've tried the mouse (hers and mine) in both ports.

The Device manager states the mouse is working, but it's not.
