Can you change the aspect ratio of a 32:9 monitor?

I have the Phillips 499P9 monitor which is 32:9 5120x1440, and I wanted to know if there is a way to restrict it to 21:9 or 16:9 (adding black bars on sides)? For work and school, 32:9 is amazing but for gaming, it is a nightmare.

Thank you for any help

Yeah thanks that worked ... I guess I'm blind :D. It works but looks like I can only have either 32:9 or 16:9 but not 21:9 :(

    Click Intel Graphics Settings.

    Click 'View'.

Select your external monitor from the drop-down menu under ‘Select Display’.

In the 'Scaling' section, see if you have the option 'Customize Aspect Ratio' (then the sliding scale appears and you can adjust the screen size).

I am using the Dell XPS 13 plus with Intel Iris Xe graphics and 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1260P. I tried looking through display settings but couldn't find anything useful there.

I also went through the Intel Graphics Command Center where it says that this display supports a bunch of different aspect ratios but I didn't find a way to change it.

You can change these settings normally in your graphics card Software.

What is the model of your graphic card ?
