PC Turns On (Fans Spin RGB Turns On) But My Monitor Says No Display.

Hello,

I have had my PC for maybe a year now and just recently swapped to a new GPU and everything was fine, except I didn't have Wi-Fi adapter in my computer so I wasn't really able to so anything except stare at my wallpaper. So, I swapped to my old GPU so I could fit the adapter back in it. That's when I got the error on my monitor "No Display". I've tried the classics such as, try a different GPU to test if it's my GPU, clean my RAM/try different sticks, reslotted my GPU, and clear my CMOS. I am very new to this computer stuff so I really don't know what to do. I don't think it's my PSU since it powers on. I've tried to use different cables and ports still nothing. Everything I have saw had told me to do something that I can't because I get no display. My PC is fairly modern as well.

ANY HELP IS WELCOME!!!!!

    Hi ejo,

I'm Dyari. Thanks for reaching out. I will be happy to assist you in this regard.

It seems you have already tried almost all the steps to fix the issue but the issue persists. I am afraid that your issue is more hardware-related rather than software-related. If its warranty is still applicable, contact the vendor to take a look at it.

Otherwise, make sure the issue is not somehow caused by the monitor. use another monitor or your TV if possible.

If the motherboard has a built-in graphics card chip, remove the external graphics card and let the motherboard use the built-in graphics card.

If you have more than one RAM, remove all of them and let the motherboard use only one RAM.

If the issue is unfixed, disconnect all unnecessary devices that are attached to your PC, reseat your old GPU, and press the power button for 30 seconds. Then, turn it on to see if the issue is fixed.

Please let me know if you need further assistance and keep me updated.

Hello, I have had this happen to me before with my PC after replacing the GPU. I felt silly after trying everything you tried and found that I was not plugging my display port cords into the new GPU but instead plugged them into the motherboard. Hope this helps.

I am sorry but the issue seems to be hardware issues. It is best to contact the manufacturer's support services to provide you with instructions to fix the issue rather than taking it to a repair shop.

    Hello Dyari,

I have tried the things you have told me multiple times just to make sure. But sadly, I am still not getting any signal but everything is powered on. I believe it is the motherboard or the CPU since I have not tested those yet because I have no way to test it. Is there anything else that could solve this issue? I have already been thinking of upgrading my motherboard and some other parts but, I won't be able to get the money for it for a while.
