My computer randomly reset and wiped everything (files, apps, settings, etc.). Is there any way to recover lost files?

I was using my computer (was on Windows 10), when it all of a sudden did a complete reset. This reset wiped everything - documents, apps, settings, etc. - so it is basically a brand new computer. Also during the reset it appears to have updated to Windows 11. Is there any way to restore my documents? I'm not as concerned about the apps and settings, but I lost a lot of documents for school.

I have tried the Recovery Panel and I did not have a backup on OneDrive. Any help would be greatly appreciated - thank you!

This is ridiculous. I just came down to my computer and everything was wiped out. I had to go into the sea drive look under users to find my information. Why is this happening?

    Hi Jerico,

Thank you for your quick response. I tried to restart the computer four times and unfortunately I still cannot find the documents. Only a small amount of storage is being used (475 GB) as all of the documents and apps were erased.
