How to remove an account from windows 11

I keep getting notifications about setting up an account for windows hello among other things on the system. My account is setup with everything it needs to be with. The second account on the system is no longer used, and has been deleted from the system. But obviously not completely. I cannot find any mention of the account anywhere when I look for it, but I also dont know all the places to look either.

How do I get either the account removed, or disable things from referencing it?

    Hello, this is Emily.

If you hold down Windows + R keys, type in netplwiz and press enter. how many account do u see there? If you still see the old account, yo can delete it here.

Type sysdm.cpl in the search on the taskbar and hit enter, go to Advanced tab, click on the "Settings" button at the User Profile section. Then delete the old user profile.

Let me know if that addresses the issue. If not, I need a bit more information regarding where you are still seeing the reference of the old account, so I can answer further. Thanks!

Run netplwiz command. See if you spot the account there and remove it, let us know if that helps.

Well, The account I was trying to get rid of, started showing back up in the "accounts" tabs. It hadnt shown up there when I first went searching to delete it, but after deleting some stuff out of the registry, it popped up there.

Either way, it may be fixed now? I just have to wait and see if I get any more account problems pop up..
