Hi, Dhiraj Shinde1
Welcome to the Microsoft Community.
It sounds like a highly unusual situation. There are several potential reasons for this issue, and it may not necessarily mean you’re being hacked. Here are several possible reasons and corresponding solutions:
- Software or Driver Issue: Your keyboard driver might have issues, or there could be conflicting software on your computer. Try uninstalling your keyboard driver from Device Manager, then restart your computer to let it automatically reinstall. If this doesn’t help, try booting your computer in safe mode to see if the issue persists. If it doesn’t, then it’s likely there’s a software conflict somewhere.
- Malware: It’s also possible that your computer has been infected with malware that’s causing these issues. Run a full scan on your computer with a trusted antivirus software to ensure that isn’t the case.
- Scheduled Tasks: Check if there are any scheduled tasks set up on your computer that could be causing this behavior. You can do this by typing “Task Scheduler” into the Windows search bar and checking whether tasks are set to run at the times your keyboard is malfunctioning.
- Hardware Issue: Even though your keyboard works on your friend’s laptop, it’s still possible there’s a hardware issue that only affects it when used with your computer. If possible, try using a different keyboard with your computer to rule this out.
- Location Factors: This might sound strange, but are there any environmental factors that could be affecting your keyboard? Certain devices could interfere with wireless signals if you’re using a wireless keyboard. If there is anything not clear or I can't understand your problem, please do not hesitate to let me know.
