Hi there!
My Photoshop CC is continuing to give me one of these warnings for the GPU compatibility:
(Your graphics processor is incompatible.)
OR
(it wasn't giving it this time, but I found this screenshot elsewhere which is similar)
The messages appear alternatly, and randomly without having anything changed.
This happened for a while now, but since some days ago, Photoshop just crashes when trying to open any file, showing this:
Reinstalling Photoshop didn't help.
For handling the first message (Graphics processor incompatible):
I've checked my DirectX version, and it is DirectX 12. On the Adobe site, it states:
We have this known issue where the dialog could report that 'Your graphics processor is incompatible.' If you're running Windows on an Intel-based system with the 'Microsoft OpenCL/OpenGL Compatibility Pack' installed, the solution is to uninstall the compatibility pack and restart the computer.
I've searched for ways to uninstall OpenCL/GL and none of it worked: It is neither listed in Programmes nor in apps and features. I found it when searching C: for "opencl" in here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Intel\OpenCL
Can I simply delete this folder?
For handling the other message (Wrong DirectX + no OpenGL + no DirectX):
What could be causing this? What's most irritating is that PS is giving this randomly, without any obvious previous change.
Please help, I urgently need to work in Photoshop. Thank you so much!
Mandy

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.
Click your Start Button, then just type dxdiag and press Enter.
Select the Display Tab on the resulting DirectX utility.
Please provide a screenshot of that Display tab.
