I saw another thread you just made, and the sync icon seems to be gone. Please try this if it helps.
Open File Explorer > click the 3 dots then select Options.
Select View tab
Uncheck 'Always show icons, never thumbnails'
Click Apply then Ok

Do you use OneDrive? Have you tried the suggested method in my first response?
Looking at the screenshot, there is a sync icon on each photo.
I don't see how this solves my problem
