Windows 11 v22H2 won't install on Lenovo Laptop
Hello,
I have been trying to install the Windows 11 22H2 update (and now the 23H2 update) and I keep getting a 0x80070002 error.
I have run Scannow - No issues
I have run DISM restorehealth - No issues
I have stopped and started all associated services before the update - No change
I have installed 3.5 and 4.8 .Net services
I have seen a number of other Lenovo topics with this but all seem to be different.

2024-02-15T19:38:50+00:00 The installation assistant failed at 82%. I ran it again as an administrator and it failed at 82%. Error code 0x80070002.
In regards to the ISO image, isn't that just reloading Windows 11? Again, this is just applying the 22H2 patch, I don't think I need the full Windows 11 ISO to reinstall.

2024-02-15T15:23:04+00:00 I did. However, I already have Windows 11 on my PC. The Installation Assistant is to upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11.

2024-02-15T15:35:12+00:00 You should also be able to use it update to the latest version of Windows 11.
If it doesn't work then download the ISO image file and once saved open File Explorer and Mount the image foile, a new virtual drive will open. Select that and run setup.
