Edge is garbage and I do not like Microsoft's authoritarian force of use. Edge Sucks so much and I want it off my computer. So much so, I started looking into Non-Microsoft operating systems.

    Hello Jamison, this is Emily.

Unfortunately Microsoft doesn't prvide a way to remove Edge browser without compromising the integrity of the operating system, except for users in the EU countries, but this is yet to come as it is being tested in the Insider version of Windows right now, and will roll out to production version of Windows very soon.

Please know that we are independent users and don't have direct influence on the product itself, and I feel your frustration. I will suggest that you use the Feedback Hub (Windows + F) to submit your feedback so that that data can reach the right product team.

Integrity of what? Corporate BS? This is absolutely unacceptable in a product that is paid for.

funny, after MS spending a decade pretending they had the right to take over MY computer, force updates and shove their garbage bloatware no one in this world actually wants making it increasingly and now impossible under the same 'security' excuse they continue to use, I wholesale switched to Chrome OS besides this one machine that I need to run one specific software (Ableton). of course it rammed an update down my throat a week ago and now the computer went from top performance to barely functions. 1000s of the best engineers in the world and they really cant find a way to maintain security without constantly shoving this crapware down my throat and actually destroying the use of the computer I PAID FOR. they give me software - period. they do not own my machine. if spotify forced updates on my and made all my other systems and programs run like **** and called it 'security' it would be no different.

but we all know the actual truth is its a lie. there is no security reason. its nothing more than sucking off wall st trying to get users for their browser NO ONE wants,

I am an even bigger fan of companies that lie right to my face (and then close the topic as quickly as possible) out of sheet greed.

this used to be a company that at least pretend to care about its customers. now it is no different than a wall st bank.

as soon as their is ableton for Chrome OS, having used MS / windows exclusively since the day I first got a pc, I will never use another MS product in my life, and never give them another dollar because of the corporate greed, arrogance and lies they now spend every minute of every day propagating.

kudos you lost a customer of over 25 yrs forever.

and btw, there is no product MS offers where Google's isnt better. One Drive v Drive - ****. Excel v Sheets - ****. Word v Docs - ****. its old tech at its best. our companies and all my personal and family systems are now 100% google based running on google fiber, never been happier. never have to sit down for two hours to get my computer to work again because MS did me the 'solid' of protecting me from my computer actually functioning by trying to shove their bloatware down my throaty under the lie of security.

f 'em. kill windows. the aol of the near future
