Paypal requires 6 digit security code to access and the authenticator is giving me an 8 digit code.

I'm having the same issue on a personal account.

Paypal requires 6 digit security code to access and the authenticator is giving me an 8 digit code.

Can't access my person paypal anymore because of it.

How to change it back, it worked find for years, until I re-installed the apps on a new phone.

    Can you log in to Microsoft official website or other Microsoft products to receive 6-digit security code through the identity authenticator?

    Because 8-digit security codes are usually applicable to work/school accounts, it is recommended that you test to see if the current reinstalled authentication is tied to the correct Microsoft account.
