So i have a GBL GO 2 speaker and when i connect it to a laptop it just switches between connected as audio and connected as mic. When I try to find it up in the device manager at audio devices, it just keeps appearing and disappearing. I can not do anything because I can not press on it. What should I do?

    Hello,Oltean Alexandru

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I am aware of the present situation is that you’re having trouble with your JBL GO 2 speaker. Here are a few steps you can try:

    1. Check if the speaker is paired with another device: Sometimes the problem is caused by the Bluetooth speaker being currently paired to another device^1^. To fix this, you will need to pair the speaker again. Turn on the Go 2. Press and hold down the Bluetooth button for 3 seconds. When the light begins flashing, the Bluetooth speaker is ready to pair and connect.
    2. Update or Rollback the Bluetooth driver: The issue might be with the Bluetooth driver on your laptop. You can try to update or rollback the driver. Press Windows key + X, click Device Manager, expand Bluetooth. Right-click each entry then click Properties. Select the driver tab, click Rollback if it’s not grayed out. If it is grayed out, right-click Bluetooth driver then click uninstall. Restart your computer then check if it’s working again.

Additionally, let’s bring the matter back to the PC pairing situation, where specific driver software needs to be downloaded:

    1. Pairing issues with a Computer or PC: In most cases when a Computer/PC/Laptop has issues connecting to a Bluetooth device, it’s caused by your Computer/PC/Laptop’s Bluetooth driver (software). The driver (software) should support the following Bluetooth protocols, to be able to play music/sound from your Computer/PC/Laptop:
      • A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) driver for your Computer/PC/Headphones to transfer music.
      • AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile) driver to send skip/forward/pause/play music to your device. Always get the latest driver version available for your Computer/PC/Laptop. To download the correct driver (software), visit the manufacturer’s website of your Computer/PC/Laptop. ->Pairing issues with a Computer or PC (jbl.com) Disclaimer: This is a non-Microsoft website.
