Very sad to hear that Dave.
The keyboard is great but I'm not going to buy a new set if the product has no reasonable support.
Thank you for your tip.

Hi,
I lost my Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard dongle :-(
I'm sure I'm not the first...
Is there a way to overcome this?
Is there a way to match another dongle as a replacement to the lost one?
Can I buy only a dongle and sync it by myself to the keyboard?
Help will be most appreciated since it's not reasonable to buy a new due to a missing dongle .
Thank you.

Hi Dave.
I have encounter the same issue. My doughter damaged, somehow, the dongle for my combo Sculpt keyboard and Sculpt mouse. Its a big dongle, all of us know that.
As far as I understand from this thread, there is no chance to buy a dongle, since they are coded (for security reason or somenthing else) at the time of packaging or before.
I want to send the keyboard and mouse to Microsoft and Microsoft to deliver me a fully functional combo, if they are unable to repair or replace the broken dongle, but to charge me ony for the dongle.
How cand I do that and how many days are required to receive the new dongle alongside wiht the coded keyboard and mouse for it?
Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.
Sadly, this is not possible, the Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard is paired to one specific USB transceiver and it is not possible to pair to with another USB dongle, and they do not provide any method to purchase a working replacement.
Glad to help!
