    Hi Daniel,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I'm Hahn and I'm here to help you with your concern.

To burn a CD that can play on any CD player, you need to choose the Audio CD option in your burning software. This will convert your MP3, WMA, or other audio files into a format that is compatible with most CD players. You also need to use a blank CD-R disc, not a CD-RW disc, as some CD players may not recognize rewritable discs.

Here are the steps to burn an audio CD using Windows Media Player, which is a common software that comes with Windows:

    1. Open Windows Media Player.
    2. In the Player Library, select the Burn tab, select the Burn options button, and then select Audio CD.
    3. Insert a blank CD-R disc into your CD burner.
    4. Drag and drop the songs you want to burn from the Player Library to the Burn list on the right side of the Player.
    5. Arrange the songs in the order you want them to appear on the CD by dragging them up or down in the Burn list.
    6. When you are ready, click Start burn to begin the burning process.

I hope this helps.  If there is anything not clear, please do not hesitate to let me know.

    Your Sincerely
