Sending faxes using Windows 11.

Has anybody been able to configure Windows Fax and Scan, so that they can send faxes free using Microsoft 365 Word?

    When I type in the optional features, I have tried with both "Windows fax and scan" and just FAX. Nothing pops up. My optional features are a bunch of different fonts.

    Something missing here.

    I thought it was in fact possible to seend free faxes without a phone line, but you are saying here on this occasion, referencing what I have previously written, that no this is indeed not possible.

    Hello Mavis:

    I cannot set up Fax for Windows 11. In Settings >Applications >Optional Features page not shown (missing).

    Hi!

    I have Windows 11 but when I go to WINDOWS/SETTINGS I don't see APPLICATIONS but APPS and there is no ADDITIONAL FEATURE option. I am trying to fax from within Word.

    Any ideas?
