I updated my windows 11 today on 14th February 2024 and it moved the copilot preview button from next to the search button to the right side of the date and time on the taskbar. Now I can no longer click in that corner to take me to the desktop. I know there is a keyboard shortcut but I am used to clicking in that corner. Anyone know how to get it back to the way it was before???

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Open the Settings App, then go to Personalization - Taskbar - Taskbar Behaviours

In there, you should find tis option - Select the far corner of the taskbar to show the desktop

Is that enabled, if not, re-enable that setting

If that was already enabled, disable that setting, restart (not shut down) your PC to apply that change, then re-enable that setting to reset the associated registry key.

This is not what I'm looking for! I want the UP ARROW SHORTCUT for the Desktop back. I DON'T want to minimize all 6 of my monitors, just to select something on my desktop!
