Samsung USB Type-C AKG earphones does not work with my Windows 11 Laptop
Hi. I am using Zenbook Pro 16X OLED laptop and when I plug my Samsung AKG USB C earphones it detects my earphones only as input device (microphone) but not as output device. I also had Lenovo Legion 5 15ACH6H and my earphones worked on Legion 5 laptop flawlesly. It works on my smartphone too. But not on my current laptop.
P.S. I have searched in web and found same problem on different users. All of them say that "Windows detects USB C earphone only as a microphone!"

2023-11-23T22:24:48+00:00 Thanks for trying, but it didn't resolve my problem with Samsung AKG headphones. They appear in the device manager, but they do not appear as speakers in the speaker selection at the bottom right of the screen. It seems the device is still considered to be only a microphone and not headphones.

2024-02-26T22:13:58+00:00 I don't know how....but somehow after opening all sort of settings and trying things, I figured it out!
Go to SYSTEM --> SOUND --> double click on MORE SOUND SETTINGS (i guess, my language on my pc is Dutch)--> Choose your headphones (probably the one all the way down) --> Double click on your usb-c headphones --> SPATIAL SOUND --> it's probably 'off' so click on it and select WINDOWS SONIC FOR HEADPHONES --> OK.
Now your pc/laptop recognizes your headphone.

2024-03-17T23:09:39+00:00 Thanks, but the Samsung AKG headset does not appear as speaker, only as microphone... So I can't select them since they do not appear. They only appear under the imput section, not under the output section.
