So I tried to download some software. And most of them give error 2503 and 2502 after I press okay on the error 2503. I tried to use the %temp% security permissions to everything on every user but it still doesn't work on any of those softwares. I need a quick fix.

Hello Mike Ramson, welcome to the Microsoft community.

Based on your feedback, your computer is showing error messages 2503 and 2502 after installing software.

I want to confirm with you, did you install software in .msi format?

Usually, when you are unable to run as an administrator, causing insufficient permissions, it can lead to errors with codes 2503/2502.

You can try the following method:

Open "My Computer - C Drive - Windows", locate the Temp folder.

Right-click on the Temp folder, choose "Properties" to open the Temp properties window, make sure to uncheck the read-only button, then select "Security" and click "Edit".

Select "Local Users (Users)" and modify the Users permissions below, click on the "Allow" box next to "Full Control".

    Apply, OK.

Hope the above information is helpful to you.
