Internet disconnecting and can't connect back again

So I've been having this problem for about a week now. Basically I will be playing a game (if it helps, its Roblox) and at any random moment my laptop loses internet, just out of the blue. It's not my wifi since I am usually watching videos on another device at the time im playing and that seems to be fine, also, that would have nothing to do with me not being able to connect back. When I try to connect back it says something along the lines of "Cant connect to this wifi" (my pc is in spanish). I have noticed that it only happens when im playing games, might just be coincidence, but when im just hanging around doing work or in call with my friends the connection problems seem to disappear, might just be a coincidence but it happens all the time so I doubt it.

I've tried a lot of methods that i found on youtube, I've updated my drivers, I've installed and uninstalled updates and it still happens. I've factory reset my pc like 2 times now thinking it was a virus but it STILL happens, I've updated my graphics card drivers, I've done near everything and cant seem to solve this.

Please help this is very frustrating

Thanks in advance

My device is an ASUS TUF Gaming FX505DT, AMD Ryzen 5 3550H, Nvidia GTX 1650, I have windows 11.

    Hi

    Welcome to Microsoft community.

I know your issue with the internet connection. It's indeed frustrating when you lose connectivity while gaming. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

    1. Check Network Adapter Power Settings: Go to Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center > Change adapter settings. Right-click on your Wi-Fi connection and select Properties. Click on Configure, go to the Power Management tab, and make sure the 'Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power' option is unchecked.
    2. Check Power Plan Settings: Go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Options. Click on 'Change plan settings' next to your chosen power plan, then 'Change advanced power settings'. In the list, find 'Wireless Adapter Settings', expand it and make sure it's set to 'Maximum Performance' when plugged in and on battery.
    3. Reset Network Settings: Open Settings > Network & Internet > Status. Scroll down and click on 'Network reset'. This will remove and then reinstall all your network adapters, and set other networking components back to their original settings.
    4. Disable Antivirus/Firewall Temporarily: Sometimes, antivirus software or firewall settings can interfere with internet connections. Try disabling them temporarily to see if the issue persists. Remember to enable them back after testing. Disclaimer: Temporarily turn off real-time Microsoft Defender antivirus protection in Windows Security. However, keep in mind that if you do so, your device may be vulnerable to threats. So please turn it on immediately once issue fixed.
    5. Check for Overheating: Intensive activities like gaming can cause your laptop to overheat, which might lead to performance issues or shutdowns. Make sure your laptop is well-ventilated and not overheating when the disconnects happen.

    Best regards
