Microsoft sign in not working with Minecraft for Nintendo Switch (SOLVED)

Recently I have been trying to sign into my Microsoft account on Minecraft for Nintendo switch, however when I go to https://aka.ms/remote connect and put in the code given, I will put in my password and will be signed into my Xbox account as well but when I go back to minecraft and try to sign in again the same thing will happen. Like a repetitive cycle, no matter how many times I put in the code and 'sign in' I won't actually be signed in on my switch. I don't believe it's a problem with my Nintendo online either because I still have at least 4 days left until it expires. This also only started happening after the Mob Vote for Minecraft so I'm wondering if it's because of an influx of users or maybe I just need to wait longer?

I think I may have figured it out for myself. Its been like this since the mob vote, however, I was only able to fix it for the times when i wanted to play, after that it kept happening so my sign in was only temporary.

Pretty much all I did was go to the link on a different device than my phone 😭. My phone is a Nokia 2.3 and its pretty old and when I had gone to the website using it, it never really worked, yet when I had used my laptop (which i got after the mob vote) or my brother's IPhone it would work.

To be fair though I'm not sure if this will still work for me because I haven't been using my switch that much since i originally posted this thing. Other than that if using an up-to-date device doesn't work then I think that it's just microsoft being buggy, like it usually is for gamers.
