    Hello Mostafa.

I am on Win 10 using Mail Version 16005.14326.21798.0

I do not find an Accounts tab per se. I have two Accounts on the left pane. I have Account settings under settings. I don't find any Export function, though, anywhere.

On option two, I have hidden and system files showing, but there is no Windows Mail folder anywhere under Appdata or child folders.

What i am wanting to do is capture the email addresses collected in Mail to save in a spreadsheet.

I don't find a File menu to display Options. Is there a paid version of Mail that has these things? I only have what came with Windows.

    Thank you for the response!

    In this instruction:

C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail folder, where "username" is your Windows user account name...

The "AppData" file is not located under my user name. is there another location that it could be?

Hello! My name is Mostafa, and I’m an independent advisor and a long-time Microsoft user.

I’m sorry that you are experiencing this issue, and I will try my best to assist you with this so that you find a satisfactory solution.

    Method 1

    1. Open Windows Mail.
    2. Click on the “Accounts” tab.
    3. Click on “Export” and select “Messages”.
    4. Choose the folder you want to export and click “Next”.
    5. Select the location where you want to save the exported file and click “Next”.
    6. Click on “Finish” to complete the export process.
    7. Copy the exported file to your new drive.
    8. Open Windows Mail on your new computer.
    9. Click on “Import” and select “Messages”.
    10. Choose the location of your exported file and click “Next”.
    11. Select the folder where you want to import your messages and click “Next”.
    12. Click on “Finish” to complete the import process.

    Method 2

    1. Open File Explorer and navigate to the location where your Windows Mail data is stored. This is typically located in the C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail folder, where "username" is your Windows user account name.
    2. Right-click on the Windows Mail folder and select "Copy".
    3. Navigate to the drive where you want to move the Windows Mail data to and create a new folder.
    4. Right-click on the new folder and select "Paste". This will copy the entire Windows Mail folder and its contents to the new location.
    5. Once the copying process is complete, you need to reconfigure Windows Mail to point to the new location. To do this, open Windows Mail, click on "File" and select "Options".
    6. In the Options dialog box, click on the "Advanced" tab and click on the "Maintenance" button.
    7. Click on the "Store Folder" button, and then click on the "Change" button.
    8. Navigate to the new location where you copied the Windows Mail folder and select the folder.
    9. Click on "OK" to save the new location and then click on "OK" again to close the Options dialog box.

I hope the above steps helped you. In case of additional questions, reach out back to me, and I will be happy to help and try my best to resolve your issue. Thank you.

    Best,

    Mostafa
