Game Crashing after fresh install of Windows - Memory DMP atached.

Hi there,

My computer is crashing in some games after 10 minutes or so. My GPU, CPU and RAM have all been individually stress tested by software and all have passed.

The machine loses display and the fans run up and i have to force it off and back on. I did a fresh install of Windows to make sure it wasn't software related but is still happening.

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA (50)
Invalid system memory was referenced. This cannot be protected by try-except.
Typically the address is just plain bad or it is pointing at freed memory.
Arguments:
Arg1: ffffc88f4e57d0f0, memory referenced.
Arg2: 0000000000000000, X64: bit 0 set if the fault was due to a not-present PTE.
bit 1 is set if the fault was due to a write, clear if a read.
bit 3 is set if the processor decided the fault was due to a corrupted PTE.
bit 4 is set if the fault was due to attempted execute of a no-execute PTE.
- ARM64: bit 1 is set if the fault was due to a write, clear if a read.
bit 3 is set if the fault was due to attempted execute of a no-execute PTE.
Arg3: fffff8023d821b6c, If non-zero, the instruction address which referenced the bad memory
address.

If other computers are having the same problem and using the latest driver, the problem may be with the most recent driver and it is recommended to use the previous one.

I am still awaiting the crash, but for your information, I now have 3 gaming PCs with Nvidia cards in them that are all experiencing the same crashing issue. The other two aren't creating dump files though. I think Nvidia latest driver is causing this issue.

    Hi there,

I am not using RTX Voice or NVidia Broadcaster.

I will use DDU to uninstall and reinstall the driver before the last one and see if it persists.

Thank you, I will report back.

My name is Jonathan Deives. I'm an Independent Advisor and I will be happy to help you today.

One of the minidump files indicates that the cause of the BSOD is "nvlddmkm.sys" which is an NVIDIA driver.

Are you using an app like RTX Voice or NVIDIA Broadcaster? If so, please uninstall and test to see if the problem occurs.

If the problem persists, use the DDU tool to uninstall the current graphics card driver and download the driver before the last one released.
