Here's the thing: We want to stop this message because we don't want Gamebar on our systems. It's annoying, it forces itself on top of Steam Overlay, and it keeps making gaming a hassle when we force-uninstall gamebar from Windows 11.

We don't want to reinstall gamebar, we want the freaking system to STOP annoying us for not wanting Gamebar. This is insane. Every single new release of Windows it feels we have less and less control over the system. If I want that I go to Apple.

    Fromreddit, it worked for me.

To resolve this you can also use the powershell to edit the registry like this:

    reg add HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\GameDVR /f /t REG_DWORD /v "AppCaptureEnabled" /d 0
    reg add HKEY_CURRENT_USER\System\GameConfigStore /f /t REG_DWORD /v "GameDVR_Enabled" /d 0

This disables the game recorder software which seems to still think that the gaming overlay is still present.

Still i hate this nonsense and the endless control and infiltration of M$ in my life as shown by the fact that M$ again comes with the message that my ages old super secure password is not correct and DEMANDS me to login with the freaking app on the phone.

And yes i hate the whole gamebar stuff, i do not want it on my pc nor will ever use it, but the whining is endless and every time the freaking OS messes up so bad that i have to reinstall the whole shabang again and again the whole circus starts again.

Almost everything on this OS is bloatware and infiltration in my personal life, sadly there is no escape from this CONTROL and SPY on my life OS because most games do not run on Steam without issues, hence the total control over game developers because they use M$ controlled development software SIGH

I am sick and tired of the more and more invading in my private life

Every time things go wrong i have to battle with endless toys to get my privacy back and things to work without the not wanted stuff in the constant deeper invading stuff in my life from this OS.

I do not want it to install all the total useless programs but it is full with them i do not use any M$ made for almost everything there are much better working and more reliable products on the planet but still this has become and nuisance that this OS maker tries to make you use everything they cook up.

Even the freaking text editor can not match up with notepad++ for example.

So stop making freaking apps AND STOP TRY TO FORCE ME TO USE THE BAD STUFF YOU LOT MAKE.

thousands of people agree with me for decades that it is no longer an OS but a enormous load of never to be used bad programs

No i do not want your xbox ****, no i do not buy any game which has been made by bought up developers and stole the access from me by demanding to have to use M$ xbox grrrrrr monstrousity

I have to constant search for solution to stop this OS from deeper infiltrating my life, and endless battle against forced nonsense and filling up my disk space nonsense, there is at least 90% nonsense on this OS which 99% on the planet never EVER use

reinstalling the xbox game bar because we don't want to use the xbox game bar. It's almost as if you started to read the question but then got confused and thought "I will answer with exactly the opposite information from what people are looking for!"
