Thank you for your reply. I just want to clarify because, as far as I know, desktop computers usually don't have a built-in speaker. Are you connecting an external one?

May I know the make and model of your device? Press Windows + R then type MSINFO32 then hit Enter:

Please check for pending Windows Updates: Go to Settings > System > Windows Update > Check for updates > Apply all pending updates. Check if the issue persists. Thank you.

Hi. My name is Lester, and I am an Independent Advisor. I'm sorry that you are experiencing this issue. I'd be more than happy to assist you.

Have you installed any new software or updates recently?

When was the last time it worked without any problems?

Is this a laptop, and are you referring to the built-in speaker, or is it a desktop computer?

    1. Run the Audio troubleshooter:

On your search bar type 'audio troubleshooter', select 'Find and fix problems with playing sound' from the results > Select 'Next' > Choose the audio you want to troubleshoot.

    1. Update the audio driver manually:

Right-click Start Menu > Select 'Device Manager.'

Click 'View' > Show hidden devices.

Expand 'Sound, video, and game controllers.'

Right-click on your audio driver > Update

Select "Browse my computer for driver software"

Choose "Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer"

Select an older driver from the list and then click Next.

I hope this information is helpful. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any more questions. Thank you
