If you get black screen of User-Logon after Cumulative updates(ie.March 2024), click Ctrl+Alt+Del and wait 5min+, options screen maybe show for you(Logout and Logon again).

Please add some Behavior exception rule to Avast Antivirus:

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\SPOOL\DRIVERS\X64\3\NEW\1\PRINTCONFIG.DLL

C:\WINDOWS\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\prnms003.inf_amd64_099d17f527f64df1\Amd64\PrintConfig.dll

(maybe not needed)

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\SPOOL\DRIVERS\X64\3\OLD\1\PRINTCONFIG.DLL

C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\x64\3\PrintConfig.dll

(maybe not needed)

If your PRINTCONFIG.DLL is missing from spool folder (C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\x64\3\PrintConfig.dll)

Copy PrintConfig.dll from

C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\prnms003.inf_amd64_792bd59a81136bf6\Amd64

TO

C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\x64\3

on Safe Mode or Windows Recovery Environment.

    Maybe this

By default, win 11 update auto updates only critical win updates, and nothing else unless you have made the mistake of selecting the "Get latest updates" option, and if you have turn it off. (It includes drivers)

You obtain both Bios & Drivers updates from the PC Maker, there should be a shortcut on your system to that makers update utility, and no other source.

Then set Bios to Defaults & Pwr to balanced.

At the end of the day shutdown, do NOT leave in sleep

You install the full feature software from the printer maker assuming its win11 compatible
