why is the snipping tool giving a gray shade over all my snips since the last update? Even using the shortcut they are all dark. Now I can't use this function.

Each time I use the snipping tool since the last update, the image has a gray screen over it. It's like when the screen goes gray before, but when you take the screenshot the selection looks normal, but when you paste the image, it's gray over top. This has been happening since the latest update and didn't happen before. Please help fix, as I use this several times a day, and now have to find a work around.

After dealing with this for weeks (between 3/7 and 3/11 it started), I saw this post and tied the fixes but it didn't work. For some reason I went to apps selected Snipping Tool, switched the default app to Screen Snipping, AND NOW IT'S BEHAVING AS EXPECTED!!!!

I gave up on MS snip. Try sniptool2.1 by reasyze.

Works great. MS really messed up this app.

Tried it, doesn't work. This is yet ANOTHER example of Microsoft changing something that works just for the sake of change then f**king it up. I am sick and tired of some bearded sandel-wearing Wunderkind in Redmond thinking she knows how I want to use my computer better than I do.
