How to fix error 0x80070660

Every time I try to install Mircosoft visual C++ 2012 i keep getting this error i have perms to write on the temp folder and theres barely any thing in the folder ive tried everything that i can possibly think of is there something i need to do or check im super confused

    I suggest you to download the Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 from the below link and check if it helps.

    If the issue persist, I suggest you to install the Visual C++ in compatibility mode and check if it helps.

    Follow the steps below on how to install software in compatibility mode:

    1. Download the software from the manufacturer’s website and save it on your local disk.
    2. Right click on the setup file of the software and select “Properties”.
    3. Select “Compatibility” Tab.
    4. Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select operating system from the drop down list.
    5. Let the software install and then check the functionality.
