    Messanger loads all the time and doesn't work?

    1. In Windows go to Menu Start and click in Control Panel:
    2. Find icon or search for: Credential Manager
    3. In Credential Manager click on Windows Credentials icon.
    4. Find a Messanger , Facebook sessions and delete them by clicking on “Remove

    Enjoy that it works and wait for the next Windows problems

    I just deleted the app on my phone and downloaded it again from the App Store. It's working fine now.

    So I used that functioning phone app to somehow (FB has crappy HCI)—generate a code that I plugged into my desktop app.

    That too is working fine now. Without a functioning phone version of the app I couldn't get the desktop version up and running but with it, it's working on both platforms now.

    I'm Christine, a Windows user like you. I can see here that your Messenger app is not opening and getting stuck at "Getting Starting" page. No worries, I'll do my best to help you.

    Have you tried to check if is there any update for that application?

    Did you try to uninstall and reinstall the app already?

    Please check and follow the steps below:

    1. Please shutdown your computer and turn it on again and see if that will fix the issue.
    2. Uninstall the Messenger app and reinstall it back.
