Hi.

I have an acer, windows 11 laptop. On both chrome and microsoft edge, there are two websites (one for work and one for uni) that have come up as ERR_CONNECTION_RESET on my laptop all day, but remain working on my phone. I have tried resetting ip address and dns and I have cleared my cache on both browsers and I have tried disabling antivirus software too.

Hi ,

I am Ivan, I will help you with this.

Check if you have Proxy Activated

Press Windows Key+R

Type inetcpl.cpl in the Run window.

Click OK.

Click on the Connections tab.

Click LAN Settings.

Check the Automatically detect setting option

Uncheck Use a proxy server

Right-click and run Windows Powershell (admin) command: Sfc /scannow Wait for the process to finish and restart the computer.

Open Powershell (admin) again and run the Ipconfig command, check in the IPv4 tab if it has the same range as your smartphone's IP on the Wi-Fi network.

If so, run the command:

ipconfig /flushdns

netsh winsock reset

netsh int ip reset all

    Hi!

This worked but after a few weeks it is happening again!

I will run the command again, but any idea why this is happening?

    Thank you again!
